This sweet French Bulldog came from a rural Virginia home where there were already several dogs and young children, including an infant. Despite the chaos and overwhelming responsibilities, someone brought Penny into the family anyway. And when life became too much, Penny was the one who paid the price. She didn't choose her situation or make any mistakes. Yet she was the one loaded into a car, taken away from everything she knew, and left behind. Now Penny sits wondering where her family went and why no one came back for her. At just one year old, she should be enjoying the carefree days of puppyhood, not facing the uncertainty of shelter life.
