Corridor Rescue Inc

Started in 2009, Corridor Rescue is now in the 13th year of saving animals from the streets of Houston's Corridor of Cruelty, a brutal area north of downtown where dogs are abandoned without food, water or medicine to fend for themselves.  Rescue is just the beginning for these animals who often have serious needs, whether from injury, disease or the psychological trauma of surviving on the streets.  When we rescue a dog from the streets we don't know all the time and all the costs that we will face, but we believe that they all deserve a chance.  We don't discriminate on age, or special needs or medical condition or breed.  

Josette is a sweet mama who was rescued with heartworms and transmissable venereal tumors (TVT).  She's currently undergoing chemotherapy; her journey to the sweet life will take time and patience and donations.  A critical moment in Josette's journey from the street life will be in a successful Meet & Greet with potential adopters and their dogs at our kennel facility.  We just moved to a new kennel property and our Meet & Greet area is not in great shape....it needs a makeover!  We are raising $26,000 to build a Meet & Greet location where adopters, their families and their dogs can truly get to know dogs like Josette and make that all important adoption decision.  Make a gift today so Josette and so many others can start their journeys to a happy home that needs them!.
