Help Us Help Them!

This week we are turning to you with something a little different than our normal medical plea, but just as important. When pulling dogs from shelters in a scramble because they are on the euthanasia list, we don't always know if a dog will have behavioral issues until they land with us. When that happens, we have decided to be more proactive and do what it takes to work through the issues and ensure they get the special attention needed to become good, adoptable pets. That special help doesn't come cheap, but these dogs are so worth it! We have been working with a board and train program that has been successful with a few of our dogs already! Some of our special pups have been adopted after training, but others are still looking for that special someone and you can find them at K-9Lifesavers.org.  

Dunkle, Tex, and Emma have all recently completed the program and Phil is currently in the program. We are hoping that you believe what we do, that some dogs need a little extra help and deserve a better life than what caused the issues to begin with, and we are so happy to be giving them the opportunity to thrive.
