Sweet Doodle Puppies are Afraid of Being Forgotten

Nine tiny Doodle puppies are sitting in a rural Southwest Virginia shelter, confused, scared, and far too young to understand why their world changed overnight. At just six weeks old, they should be curled up safely beside their mother, not lying on a cold concrete floor waiting for someone to decide if they are worth saving. Their sad story began as an accident when a family dog got loose, became pregnant, and when the puppies arrived, the financial burden became too overwhelming for the owners to handle. With nowhere else to turn, the puppies were surrendered to a rural shelter. Now these babies are running out of time. Rural shelters are overcrowded, underfunded, and heartbreaking places for fragile puppies who desperately need medical care, food, warmth, and a chance to grow up. Homeward Trails wants to pull every single one of them to safety, but rescue is not free.
