Dear Awesome Animal Advocates!

I have now worked for Animal Friends Alliance for 3.5 yrs. I volunteered for a year before joining staff as the Community Pet Resources Manager. No matter how many kittens and cats I see I am still always excited to meet new ones, like in the above picture, receiving help from Animal Friends Alliance! 

As the Community Pet Resources Manager I have a unique point of view within the organization. While many of are staff are focused on the essential tasks of caring for animals, performing adoptions and fundraising, I get to see how all of our resources come together to provide the community with comprehensive animal services. If someone reaches out for help with re-homing a litter of kittens Animal Friends Alliance is dedicated to finding out more about their situation. So often clients are needing help because a feral cat gave birth to a litter under their porch or they have a pet cat they could not afford to get spayed. We would never know about these situations without further investigation and wouldn't be tackling the pet overpopulation issue at its core, just temporarily steaming the tide.

Animal Friends Alliance does the extra work to provide sheltering and adoptions, the community cat program, the kibble supply pet food pantry, the PAL+ program for subsidized cost spay/neuter and vaccines, and the list goes on! To move closer to a world in which all companion animals experience a healthy home where they are wanted,
cared for, and loved.

Help us raise $150,000 this month to continue our lifesaving programs: sheltering and adoptions, subsidized spay/neuter and vaccines, trap-neuter-return, pet food, and help for pet owners to receive vaccines and spay/neuter for their cats and dogs at our clinic. We help over 13,000 animals every year -- join us. Because working together, our mission is pawsible!
