Crusty Kitten Has Pneumonia and Damaged Eye

Bentley is four months old. He's a kitten, a baby, still new to this world. Yet during his short time, he has only known suffering. This poor boy was orphaned, and left to fend for himself. He wasn't faring too well outdoors. Gratefully, a good Samaritan took him in and he found his was to Homeward Trails. Now, his nose is crusty and he's struggling to breathe. We're worried Bentley has pneumonia! If we don't get help soon, his little body might not have the strength to fight it off. 

What's more, Bentley's eye needs attention. We aren't sure yet what it wrong, but plan to get additional x-rays and tests while he is at the vet for his pneumonia. 

Whatever the diagnosis, we won't be able to do anything for his eye until he is fully recovered from the pneumonia and healthy enough to undergo other treatments. It is possible the eye may have to be removed, which we would do while he is under anesthesia for his neuter surgery.
