Puppies Don't Belong in Jail!

These 6 adorable puppies are sadly living a life behind bars. Diamond, Lilly, Sara, Abby, Dallas and Rook are precious 13 week old elkhound/heeler mixes. They have always had the comfort of each other since birth, but their owner has recently surrendered them to a rural VA shelter. Soon they won't have each other anymore and will face the scary world alone. The shelter is frightening enough, but the unknown future for the puppies is really what has them all so scared. Please help Homeward Trails get these babies out their cages as soon as possible. Every day that they have to stay at the shelter is another day they may pick up a contagious disease or any other of the numerous threatening dangers of shelter life for a puppy.
