Shot in the Head & Left for Dead-Faces Euthanasia

So many horrible things happen to animals who do not deserve them. Sweet Mary Alice would be one of them. 

Animal Control received a report of a dog found wandering with a clear head wound from a bullet. But no one could find the dog. The cold, the snow, the misery set it. And no one could find her.

Then another call came in about the same dog in the same location. Where had she been? How had she survived? Who did this?

Thankfully, she was found and rushed to the hospital to receive treatment but she has a journey to go to be out of the woods.

Infection has set in and she will need surgery again very soon - and will likely lose teeth. She remains sweet and kind and wiggy despite her odds and we are desperate to get her in shape to be loved forever.

But now the shelter that has her has not been able to provide the follow up surgery she needs and the possibility of euthanizing her has been mentioned. 

This poor dog has known such cruelty and we are desperate to give her the love and life she deserves.
