Found wandering looking for a home

Carter is a chocolate brown beauty who was found wandering the streets of Southern VA. He appears to be a 1 year old Poodle mix but we can’t tell how long he has been out on his own. He is lucky she did not get hit by a car. Being a stray comes with a lot of potential for suffering. He would have suffered dehydration in the summer heat and not been able to find a decent meal. It is good that he has been rescued and can get his basic needs met but Carter deserves more than a life in a cage.

At Homeward Trails we can make sure that Carter goes to a home where he is loved and adored the way he should be. He deserves a home with a forever family committed to his care. We need to make sure we can transport him safely. Please help Carter on his way home
