Homeless After Hurricane Helene

This fall, Hurricane Helene left shelters full and many dogs displaced, separated from their families, and in need of a home. Gael, a husky mix currently located in rural Virginia, is one of the dogs who found himself without a home after the hurricane hit. Only one and a half years old, Gael is lucky to have survived the storm and to have made it to one of our partner shelters. Sadly, despite his adorable ears and charming personality, Gael has still not found his forever home!  We want to bring Gael to Homeward Trails, where we know we can find him the perfect match.
