Unwanted and Unloved

These six 9 week old puppies were never wanted from the start. Sadly, Henry, Hayley, Heather, Holly, Harley and Hudson were surrendered to a rural VA shelter as soon as they were old enough to leave their mom. The owner likely didn't think about the consequence of not spaying his dog, and now these 6 babies are left to find new homes. They are currently stuck in cages at the shelter, where their immature immune system is on overdrive trying to keep them healthy. Shelters often have highly transmissible diseases that can kill a puppy if not caught quickly. We can't let these innocent pups live a life of fear and uncertainty. They deserve to be loving family dogs, and Homeward Trails is just the rescue to help them! Please help us raise enough funds so that none of the puppies have to get left behind. Their life has been sad enough. It is time to change their future around!
