Millie Needs A Lifeline

After wandering around alone as a stray in rural Virginia, Millie is relieved to not have to be sleeping outside anymore. Living life desperate for food and water and trying her best to not get hurt by cars or other animals, Millie was growing weary. She was longing for a safe place to sleep and regular meals. Luckily, she was brought until a rural shelter before she succumbed to dangers as a stray. Millie now lives life in a metal cage though, which is only a little better than sleeping outside on the hard ground. She is so adorable and sweet and tries to not let her past tribulations get in the way of her living her best future life. Sadly though, Millie has been passed up by adopters week after week, and she is worried the rest of her life will be spent behind bars. This cute face doesn't deserve to be anywhere except on a soft bed with a loving new owner. Homeward Trails might be Millie's only hope.
