Rowdy is Ready to Run Free!

Rowdy is a very happy and energetic one year old mix! He loves to play, run and have fun... what else could someone want for their dog? Unfortunately, Rowdy didn't know that his exuberance for life would end up with him being sent off to the shelter. Rowdy's owners decided they had enough of his energy and instead of finding fun ways to help get his energy out, they decided to surrender to him to a rural southwest VA shelter. Not surprisingly, being cooped up in a cage at a shelter is the last place a fun loving dog wants to be. Rowdy can't get any of his energy out and could be becoming depressed spending his days behind bars. Please don't let this handsome boy get left behind!
