Show a senior pet you care by donating to their medical fund!

Did you know November is Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month? We will be celebrating our senior shelter pets all month long with promotions to find their furr-ever homes! Senior pets are amongst the most vulnerable animals in our shelter. They are often scared and confused as to why they are no longer in their homes but instead are surrounded by strangers in a a loud shelter with hundreds of other animals.

Most of our senior pets require additional medical care including bloodwork, specialty diets, and expensive dental work. Each dental starts at about $500 but can be upwards to $3,000 per animal if all of their teeth need to be extracted. These expenses add up quickly and can be overwhelming for our shelter. We find that most senior pets are surrendered to us because their owners cannot afford the medical care they need.

We are currently the home to dozens of senior dogs and cats who need your help to live out their golden years in good health. All donations made to the Silver Paws Fund will go directly to helping senior pets. Please make November a month to remember for a homeless senior pet today by donating!
