Stout's heartworms are progressing

Just look at the desperation in his eyes. 

This is Stout, a 2 year old shy hound. This poor guy was found as a stray, terrified and alone. He finally made it to the shelter, only to find out that he is heartworm positive. 

Because of his diagnosis, it has been very difficult to find a place for him. Heartworms are not only aggressive but costly and time-consuming to treat. Unfortunately a lot of dogs, who deserve nothing but the best, are left behind, all because of heartworm. Let's not let that happen to Stout.
