Together let's help Helen!

Helen and 4 siblings were found living under a home in a very tight crawlspace in a very rough and run down part of town. The kittens were all flea and parasite infested, and Helen's eyes were so badly sealed up with infection.

This photo is the day we got Helen. She's feeling better and energetic now and is eating on her own, but will need out help to have surgery to remove at least the right eye. The vet will be re-evaluating the left eye in a few weeks after a course of treatment. The vet still is unsure of the left eye too. But he assured us we are doing all we can for Helen, and she's not in pain (even though the eye looks gross now). He said she needs to get to about 3 pounds before he's comfortable putter her under anesthesia for surgery.

Had Helen been outside alone like this for much longer, she may not be with us anymore. But against all the odds, she pulled through and found help. She's a real fighter!

Please consider a donation to help Helen get her eye surgery and spay so she can be pain free and find a furever home when she's big enough.
