Yoyo Made Some Poor Choices
We were able to get Yoyo into a local vet in southwest Virginia for his neuter last week so we could get a jump start on getting him ready for adoption before arriving. But overnight after surgery Yoyo made some bad choices. He managed to get his cone off and rip out his sutures and even a couple of staples! The vet had to go back in and fix the damage. He required hospitalization afterward for close monitoring. He's finally fit to travel and is hoping to come to Homeward Trails this week. He promises to be a very good boy going forward.
It is so sad when senior pets are discarded to shelters. Poor 12 year old Yoyo was surrendered by his owner to a rural VA shelter. This sweet boy may only a have a few years of life left, and it is very upsetting to think that without a rescue to save him, he could live his last days alone on a concrete floor. Yoyo has been a loyal and loving pet and does not deserve to be thrown out like yesterday's garbage. Please help Homeward Trails save this sweet boy. He deserves to know that there are people out there that will care for him, even in his final years. That sweet smile will certainly make it all worth it!
