Sweet Senior Needs Bloodwork & a Dental

August spent months in a shelter cage until he recently came to Homeward Trails. He continued to be overlooked because he was FIV+ - something he can't help and shouldn't define him. He was a staff favorite and they wanted nothing more than for him to have a chance at adoption. We heard his story and knew we needed to help him. When August arrived at Homeward Trails, his foster noticed he was drinking a lot of water (bowls and bowls) and was plagued with diarrhea. 

He will need bloodwork and a urinalysis to determine the cause of the excessive thirst and diarrhea. We also learned he's closer to 10 years old than the original estimate of 3 years old. Because he's a senior, we need to make sure to get to the bottom of any potentially serious issue before it's too late.

To add to his woes, August also needs a dental. His teeth and gums are in bad shape which is only adding to any discomfort he is in. Once we figure out what's going on internally, we want to be ready to get August's dental health under control. Please help give August the best golden years possible.
