Frosty is Worried He Has Been Forgotten

Frosty is a very sweet one year old Aussie mix who was found and brought to a rural shelter in southwest Virginia. He had no idea where his home was and no idea how he ended up in a scary kennel. Frosty kept hoping that his owners would come and claim him, but he was never searched for, and never chosen. Now he spends his days behind metal bars in an overcrowded shelter, quietly unraveling as the loneliness sinks in. Once curious and full of life, Frosty has grown withdrawn and sad, his spirit slowly dimming as he waits for a future that may never come. He doesn’t understand why he’s still there or why the world seems to have forgotten him. Without being rescued, Frosty has no path forward, only more days confined and unseen. Homeward Trails is his only chance to escape this life and find safety, love, and a home where he matters.
