Hera and Anna are just 1 year old Lab mix sisters from southern Virginia, and their short lives have already been filled with heartbreak. Their owner kept them in terrible, neglectful conditions, unable to provide even the basics of care, until finally surrendering them to a crowded shelter. Now these two sweet, gentle pups sit in kennels, confused and scared, not understanding why love and comfort have always been out of reach. Homeward Trails wants to rescue Hera and Anna, give them the veterinary care they desperately need, and show them the kindness they’ve never known, but they can’t do it without your help.
