Pregnant Mom Hit By a Car - Pups Need Us!

Ken and Kira were almost lost to us.  These sweet pups were still waiting to be born when their mom was hit and dragged by a car in Puerto Rico, suffering a severe injury to her leg.  Local fosters in PR jumped into action and immediately got this poor mama to the vet where Homeward Trails providing funding for her urgent treatment. 

We are so grateful to the quick action of these fosters who saved Mom's life and were able to give her a safe environment to bring these pups into the world.

Ken and Kira are just 10 weeks old but puppies quickly grow too large to fit in the small under seat carriers allowed by most airlines.  We needed to work quickly to get the on an available flight as soon as a volunteer reached out to us. Now, we need to cover the cost of vetting them and flying them here so while they work on finding loving homes. We want to give them a wonderful future -- one they are lucky to have -- but we need your help!
