Mickey and her 8 babies are in limbo

Mickey is a 3-year-old lab mix who was found roaming the streets of rural Virginia and very pregnant. Luckily, a friend of the local shelter was able to take her in temporarily so she could deliver her babies in a safe place. Mickey delivered eight healthy babies, who are now 3-4 weeks old.

But her time has run out and she has nowhere to go. Heading to a shelter would be incredibly risky for Mickey and her puppies, who wouldn't be able to fend off the germs of a busy shelter and would be at increased risk of euthanasia given the large size of the family. 

We can only imagine the stress Mickey has been through as a pregnant stray trying to protect her babies. They have come so far and, with our help, they will find the love and stability they deserve. Can you chip in so we can rescue this at-risk family and find them forever families?
