She lost three of her babies -- and the future of the seven survivors depends on us.

Rebecca is a 3 year old Plott Hound who was found very pregnant and wandering the streets in rural Virginia.

She was clearly desperate to find somewhere safe to have her babies while also struggling with the heat and having no food or water. We can't even imagine the stress of this all.

Luckily, she didn't give birth in the woods, BUT is now in a crowded rural shelter, and shortly upon arrival she gave birth and watched 3 of her pups die - likely due to her state of starvation, dehydration and intestinal parasites which so often make moms and pups anemic and very sick.

She's doing the best she can to keep the 7 surviving puppies alive and healthy, but a shelter is no place for newborn puppies or a nursing mom. We need to get Rebecca and her little family to safety so we can ensure she doesn't suffer any more loss.

We can only imagine how overwhelming the shelter environment is for Rebecca, who has worked so hard to keep her babies safe. But it's not easy to cover the vetting and transporting this family, and we need your support! Can you help us ensure a brighter future for this deserving family?
