ACDRA CELEBRATES 20 YEARS! Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association (ACDRA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organized to facilitate the rescue and adoption of Australian Cattle Dogs in need. Our goal is to eliminate the stray, abandoned, and unwanted ACDs through spay/neuter, adoptions, and education. Through our network of members and foster homes, we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Australian Cattle Dogs and ACD mixes from animal control groups, shelters, and owner surrenders.

ACDRA is 100% foster-home based and covers approximately 20 states. We rely heavily on raising funds to meet the transport, medical, and training needs of our dogs. We do not discriminate on age, special needs, or medical condition - we rescue pregnant moms and litters, blind and deaf dogs, senior dogs, etc. We pride ourselves on saving those with serious medical conditions that need urgent hospitalization (e.g., parvo, hit by car), extensive testing (e.g., MRI, CT scan), surgery (e.g., FHO, TPLO), and rehabilitation (physical and behavioral). We also provide hospice care, when needed. In an effort to help the community, we offer a rehoming service to assist owners with education and information to safely rehome their own dogs. We also offer courtesy posts to shelters and other rescues organizations to expand their reach to potential ACD-savvy adopters.

Your support in the Saving Pets Challenge will help ACDRA stay "Cattle Dog Strong" as we work toward saving over 300 dogs this year!
